Full-day tour of Istanbul’s main historical monuments. We’ll begin with an exterior visit to Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of world architecture. Built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD, this church is one of the wonders of world architecture. Its imposing dome dominates the skyline of Istanbul’s Old City. It is famous for its mosaics, which include resplendent portraits of emperors and empresses.
Next, we’ll visit Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans, with its gardens and pavilions. Afterward, we’ll head to the Blue Mosque, which owes its name to the exquisite tiles that adorn its interior. Dating from the 17th century, it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets and a harmonious design. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Roman Hippodrome, the site of ancient chariot and spice races that attracted 100,000 spectators. We will conclude at the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s largest covered markets. The Grand Bazaar was the commercial heart of the Old City, and its 4,000 shops are overflowing with treasures, including carpets and kilims, silks, jewelry, ceramics, icons, and leather goods. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the tour.
Breakfast. Departure for one of Istanbul’s most famous activities: a boat trip on the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe and Asia. During this journey, you’ll see the palaces of the Sultans. Next, we’ll visit the Spice Bazaar, established by the Ottomans five centuries ago and still in use today. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our tour to the Asian side of the city, visiting Beylerbey Palace. Lunch. We’ll visit the charming district of Üsküdar, on the Asian side, and then ascend Çamlıca Hill, the highest point in Istanbul, offering panoramic views of the entire city. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight to Cappadocia. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit this fascinating region with its unique landscape, formed by lava ejected from the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago. We will visit the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex comprised of churches carved into the rock and adorned with beautiful frescoes. Next, we will visit the Avcilar and Gövercinlik Valleys, where you can admire the best view of the volcanic formations known as “fairy chimneys.” We will also visit traditional workshops specializing in carpets and onyx and turquoise. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport in Cappadocia for your domestic flight (included) to Istanbul. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and overnight stay.
At the indicated time, transfer to the port to embark on your Costa Cruises ship. The cruise departs at 6:00 PM bound for Greece. Overnight on board.
Arrival on the island of Mykonos at 3:00 p.m. Free time to walk its charming white streets, enjoy its vibrant atmosphere or participate in an optional excursion.

Mykonos is known worldwide as the Ibiza of the Aegean, the most popular destination in the Mediterranean. A paradise for the international jet-set, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, hundreds of small white chapels and incredible nightlife. Stroll through the streets of the capital, considered the most beautiful of the Greek islands, and enjoy its lively nightlife. It’s easy to get lost in its labyrinth of gleaming white walls dotted with blue domes, windows and flower-filled balconies. Have a coffee or cocktail at one of their famous bars and promise to come back for a longer stay and more experiences.
Don’t miss a visit to the sanctuary of Delos, in honor of the Greek god Apollo, which can be reached after a pleasant boat ride.
The ship leaves at 11:00 p.m. In the evening, party on board in the Gulf of Mykonos (23:15-01:30).
Arrival in Heraklion (Crete) at 9:00 AM. Free time to discover this historic city, or participate in an optional excursion, such as a visit to the Palace of Knossos. Don’t forget to enjoy Cretan cuisine in a local taverna. Departure from the ship at 7:00 PM. Overnight on board.

Free day to enjoy the beach and get to know this unique island better. Santorini is undoubtedly one of the jewels of the five-island volcanic archipelago. Santorini was formed as a result of a volcanic eruption that culminated in the explosion of a volcanic caldera; therefore, its rugged landscapes are dotted with enormous cliffs.
Fira, the capital of Santorini, with its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and open-air cafes clinging to a cliff, sits atop the beautiful island, offering magnificent views across the bay. Discover Santorini’s villages that retain their authenticity, with their beautiful blue and white buildings and stark volcanic rocks. It is a fascinating and picturesque island. A magical place unlike any other Greek island, a place where you can breathe in the peaceful nature and the hospitality of its people.
Don’t miss the sunset from the caldera or the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in the island’s restaurants and tavernas.
The boat departs at 6:30 PM. In the evening, enjoy a special party in the Santorini Archipelago (7:00-9:00 PM).
Arrive at the port of Piraeus early in the morning. Disembark, transfer to your hotel in Athens, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the vibrant city and get to know its monuments and people. A great opportunity to visit one of its famous museums. The National Archaeological Museum or the Benaki Museum are just two examples. A visit to Lycabettus Hill will allow you to admire Athens from above.
Use the metro not only to get around, but also to visit the different stations to admire ancient and modern works of art. Don’t miss Plaka (the old town of Athens), with its numerous souvenir shops, restaurants, and tavernas.
Many restaurants offering diverse cuisines and numerous nightlife venues await you.
During the summer, you can also visit one of the nearby beaches for a swim.
Depart along the coastal road towards the Corinth Canal (short stop). Continue the journey and visit Epidaurus, a small city in ancient Greece, located on the Saronic Gulf. Considered the birthplace of Asclepius, son of Apollo and known as the healer, Epidaurus was famous for its sanctuary (the cult of Asclepius at Epidaurus is documented in the 6th century BC) and for its theatre, which is still in use.
The Sanctuary of Asclepius in Epidaurus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The theater is admired for its exceptional acoustics, which allow for near-perfect intelligibility of the spoken word without amplification from the stage to the 15,000 spectators, regardless of their location.
Then, head to the city of Nafplion (short stop) and continue to Mycenae to visit the archaeological site and tomb of Agamemnon. Departure to Olympia through the central Peloponnese and the cities of Tripoli and Megalopolis. Dinner and accommodation in Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Dinner and accommodation.
Olympia was a sanctuary in ancient Greece, known for having hosted the Olympic Games during the Classical period, the most famous games in history.
The sanctuary, known as the Altis, consists of an irregular arrangement of several buildings. Within the temenos are the Temple of Hera (or Heraion/Heraeum) and the Temple of Zeus, the Pelopion, and the altar area, where sacrifices were performed. The Hippodrome and, later, the stadium, were also located to the east.
To the north of the sanctuary are the Prytaneion and the Philippeion, as well as the treasury, which represents the various city-states.
Olympia is also famous for the colossal ivory and gold statue of Zeus that once stood there, sculpted by Phidias, and which was named one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World by Antipater of Sidon.
Then, continue your journey across the plains of Eliad and Achaea to the magnificent bridge spanning the Bay of Corinth, from Rion to Antirion. Pass through the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, and arrive at Delphi. Dinner and overnight stay.
Delphi was the center of the ancient world, the “Omphalos” (the navel of the Earth), whose prestige transcended the borders of the Hellenic world.
On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of incomparable beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the sanctuary of Apollo Pythios.
Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the Museum, which houses masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Agias. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town located at the foot of the impressive Meteora, a group of gigantic rock formations. Dinner and overnight stay.
Meteora is one of the largest and most important Eastern Orthodox monastery complexes in Greece, second only to Mount Athos. In the middle of an impressive landscape, perched on enormous rocks that seem suspended in the air, millennial monasteries rise where you can admire exquisite examples of Byzantine art. The six monasteries are built on natural sandstone pillars, on the northwestern edge of the Thessaly plain, near the Pineios River and the Pindus Mountains in central Greece. Meteora is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae (visit the monument of Leonidas). Arrival in Athens in the early afternoon.

Continue past the Prime Minister’s residence (formerly the Royal Palace), guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniforms. The tour will end with a visit to the famous Acropolis. Free afternoon to explore the old city of Athens (Plaka) with its many restaurants, tavernas, and souvenir shops.
