Hotel change

If the hotel you request is not available we will find and suggest another selected hotel similar to the requested. The same applies to the hotels mentioned in the tour packages (the hotel will be substituted by another of the same category and level of service).

Cruise changes

Cruise lines reserve the right to change the vessels, itineraries rates and the sequence of the events and places visited without prior notice. Shore excursions operated by cruise companies are optional unless specified as included.

Land tours

Land tours are operated by air-conditioned busses and include the services of a professional English-speaking guide and entrance fees to the archaeological sites. Most of the times guides speak in two languages.

What is included?

** Packages do not include air transportation unless specified as included.

** Meals included in each tour are clearly specified.

** All rates are expressed in Euro unless another indication exists in the specific service. All rate quotes for hotels are per room. All rates for organized tours and cruises are per person in sharing a twin room. For a single room/cabin, there is an extra charge for a hotel or cruise room.

Easytraveler.net cannot arrange for sharing accommodation.

Hotel rates are per room and come according to the number of persons sleeping in the same room: Single: 1 person, Double: 2 persons, Triple : 3 persons, Quad: 4 Persons.

Baggage

On bus tours, one normal-size suitcase per person is recommended. In most hotels, there is the possibility of leaving some bags for storage while you go on a tour for some days.

For people with special needs

Local tour or cruise operators need prior notice for the participation of persons who have a physical or mental disability and need special attention and treatment. It is necessary to communicate Easytraveler.net such information at the time of booking and have acceptance of participation after sharing this information with the involved parties.

Insurance

It is strongly advised before leaving home to make travel insurance that covers cancellation charges, plain delays, trip interruption etc.

Travel documents

Valid passports or identity cards are necessary for travellers from the European Union. Valid passports for all the rest and visas for citizens from some countries are compulsory for every traveller. You can check if you need a visa by visiting the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For those needing a visa please find here the list of the authorities of the Hellenic Republic in your country. Special note for the participation in cruises to the Greek Islands and Turkey: All citizens needing a visa to enter Greece must have a multiple entry Schengen visa.

Help you may need

Our offices remain open for many hours a day and you can reach us for assistance. We can help to solve any problem during your stay in our country if we know it the soonest possible. So try to reach us during your stay if you need help. After your departure from the place of the incident, it is difficult to give the maximum care.

Children rates

Children may have special discounts. Give us details when booking.

Incidentals

Anything not specified as included has to be paid by the traveller. (to mention some but not all : airfares- airport taxes – laundry – telephone calls – drinks – meals – gratuities – etc ).

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total price is required within 7 days from booking in order to secure a reservation and prevent an automatic cancellation. The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. Bookings received less than 45 days prior to arrival must be accompanied by full payment.

Cancellation policy

All cancellation requests must be in writing and are in effect after 24 hours after receipt. If a cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee is due: Days Prior to Arrival Cancellation Fee
60-45 Days euro 200 per person
44-30 Days 20% of the total price
29-15 Days 35% of the total price
14-08 Days 50% of the total price
07-00 Days & Non-Shows 100% of the total price. When a special note for cancellation policy is made at the hotel reservation form this note supersedes the general cancellation policy
Tips, Taxes, Entrance fees

For programs that include Cruises with Celestyal Cruises, cancellation fees apply if the reservation is cancelled 90 days prior to arrival. No refund will be made for unused services or changes in itineraries made by clients without prior authorization. Any change required at the destination must be processed directly from your travel agency.

Port taxes are not included unless specified. Taxes for hotel stays and entrance fees to archaeological sites are included. Tips to hotel staff, cruise staff, guides, and bus drivers are not included and are at your discretion.
