This tour is an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (shortstop).
Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts an order in the mind”, the Parthenon.
Tour will end by visiting the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum, “State of the art” in museum construction and very rich in content.
Afternoon free to visit Plaka (The old Athens city) with lots of souvenir shops, restaurants and taverns.

We leave from Athens joining the coastal road until the first stop in the Corinth Canal, a unique technical achievement of the 19th century, connecting the Ionian with the Aegean Sea (short stop).
The next destination is National, Napoli di Romania, one of the most beautiful cities in Greece. We will stroll around the alleys of the first capital of Greece, we will admire the local architecture, the great Venetian castle of Palamidi and the stronghold of Bourbaki and the cathedral of Saint George.  After a short walking tour, you will have free time on your own to enjoy the city.
Then we drive to Mycenae, the citadel of one of the oldest pre-historical civilizations famous all around the world for the story of the Trojan War. This is the place from where the Greeks had set off for the expedition in Troy in order to get back beautiful Helene and where the golden mask of Agamemnon was found. We will see the famous Lion’s Gate, the monumental entrance, the Cyclopean Walls and the Treasury of Atreus, a monumental structure for the burial of the King. We will have a lunch break at Mycenae. 
In the afternoon, we return back to Athens full of colorful images and unique smells.

We go along the Athens Riviera in the Saronic Gulf to the south end of Attica passing close to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion.

We will arrive at the port of Kusadasi. Kusadasi is a resort town on the Aegean coast of Turkey. In ancient times settlers included the Aeolians in the 11th century BC and the Ionians in the 9th century who made Kusadasi a center of art and culture. In the early years of Christianity. The medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
The optional tour will take you to visit the old medieval city and the famous Acropolis of Lindos. If you want to be on your own you can swim in one of the many beaches of the island or just stroll in the old city and imagine being one of its inhabitants of ancient times.

We will spend the whole day in Santorini, one of the jewels of small volcanic archipelagos five islands is undoubtedly Santorini. Santorini was created due to a volcanic eruption that culminated in the explosion of a volcano caldera, therefore, its rugged landscapes dotted with huge cliffs.

Stroll through the streets of the capital that are considered the most beautiful of the Greek islands and enjoy the great nightlife. It’s easy to get lost in its maze of bright white walls dotted with blue domes and flower-filled windows and balconies. Have a coffee or a cocktail in one of the famous bars and promise to come back for a longer stay and more experiences.
Don’t miss a visit to the Delos sanctuary in honor of the Greek god Apollo, which can be reached after a delightful boat ride.
