Golden Adventure Greek Islands cruise starts at Piraeus (Athens) port.  Our cruise ship will leave the port of Piraeus at 17:00 for 8 full days of fun and experiences. We go along the Athens Riviera in the Saronic Gulf to the south end of Attica passing close to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion. This afternoon is a good opportunity to get around and know your ship and the services we provide.

Around 08:00 am, we will arrive at the port of Thessaloniki. The thick Byzantine walls that protect Thessaloniki give a transition to an attractive mix of architectural landscapes with winding cobbled streets. The lined avenues of palm trees house glamorous shops and r gourmet restaurants. The historic streets feature taverns traditional and ouzeria to satisfy everyone’s palate. Beautiful churches appear on every corner, the markets in season selling colourful local products and places in Aristotelous Square, where you can sit with homemade ice cream and watch the world go by.

Today we visit the magnificent island of the roses, Knights and Butterflies. Rhodes was famous worldwide for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
The optional tour will take you to visit the old medieval city and the famous Acropolis of Lindos. If you want to be on your own you can swim on one of the many beaches of the island or just stroll in the old city and imagine being one of its inhabitants of ancient times.

Agios Nikolaos is a coastal town on the Greek island of Crete, lying east of the island’s capital Heraklion, north of the city of Ierapetra and west of the city of Sitia. It is the capital of the Lasithi regional unit.
Agios Nikolaos was settled in the late Bronze Age by Dorian occupants of Lato, at a time when the security of the Lato hillfort became a lesser concern and easy access to the harbour at Agios Nikolaos became more important.
The name Agios Nikolaos means Saint Nicholas is a common placename in Greece and Cyprus, since Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, and of Greece.

We will spend the whole day in Santorini, one of the jewels of the small volcanic archipelagos’ five islands is undoubtedly Santorini. Santorini was created due to a volcanic eruption that culminated in the explosion of a volcano caldera, therefore, its rugged landscapes are dotted with huge cliffs.
Santorini’s capital, Fira, with white-washed houses, narrow streets and open air cafes that cling to a cliff, is at the top of the beautiful island where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Discover Santorini villages that retain their authenticity, with beautiful blue and white buildings and barren volcanic rocks. It is a very fascinating and picturesque island. A magical place that has nothing to do with the rest of the Greek islands, a place to spread the peaceful and hospitable nature of its people.

In the morning we arrive in Mykonos to enjoy the sun, the sea and the beauties of this unique island.
Mykonos is known around the world as the Ibiza of the Aegean, the most popular destination in the Mediterranean. An international jet set known for its beautiful sandy beaches, hundreds of tiny white chapels, and incredible nightlife. Stroll through the streets of the capital are considered the most beautiful of the Greek islands and enjoy the great nightlife. It’s easy to get lost in its maze of bright white walls dotted with blue domes and flower-filled windows and balconies. Have a coffee or a cocktail in one of the famous bars and promise to come back for a longer stay and more experiences.
Don’t miss a visit to the Delos sanctuary in honour of the Greek god Apollo, which can be reached after a delightful boat ride.
Return to the ship and depart at 02:00 a.m. Night on board.

At about 08:00 AM arrive in Milos, time to explore the capital, Plaka, 2,000-year-old catacombs
or simply sunbathe on the flat rocks of the stunning Sarakiniko beach. The true beauty of this beautiful island is found in its impressive landscapes, rock formations sculpted by the wind and the sea, soft sand beaches, secluded coves and clear crystal clear aquamarine. The island is recognized worldwide by the Venus de Milo (Currently in the Louvre). Departure at 6:00 p.m.

In the morning we arrive in Piraeus port. After breakfast disembarkation and continue for your Greece vacation or for your return home trip. This is the end of your Golden Adventure Greek Islands Turkey Cruise. Hope to see you with us again.
