As confirmed by EasyJet, new three-times-weekly flights will operate from 28th April to the end of October 2012 providing passengers from Gatwick to Kefalonia, giving passengers an even wider choice of affordable destinations to choose from next summer.
Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands with stunning beaches, picturesque mountain top views and its carved underground lake. With up to 12 hours of sunshine a day offers the perfect combination of picture harbours, golden sands and historic Roman ruins for a memorable and relaxing holiday.
“Our new route to Kefalonia from Gatwick adds even more choice for passengers seeking an easy and affordable sunshine getaway next year. Greece has long been a favourite for sun worshippers and Kefalonia is among the pick of the Mediterranean’s most desirable getaways.
“The continued expansion of our Gatwick operation and the fact that we are the airport’s largest airline reflects easyJet’s commitment to providing travellers in the region with the best choice of destinations at the lowest possible fares.” said Paul Simmons UK Director of EasyJet
