Mycenae, Epidaurus, Olympia and Delphi are famous places of ancient Greece while Meteora was and still is a great religious center and a very important geological phenomenon.

This tour covers the most important ruins of ancient Greece and Byzantine Greece in the Peloponnese and central Greece and gives you the opportunity to see also the Greek country side.


Day 1

Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf you pass Daphne and Eleusis andAncient Mycenae Greece arrive to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive to Epidaurus (visit the famous theater) and continue to Nauplion, the first capital of Greece, for a sort stop. Drive to Mycenae where you visit the archaeological site and depart for Olympia, through the central Peloponnese area passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.


Day 2Ancient Olympia Greece

In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion, cross the channel to Antirion on the “state of the art” new suspended bridge considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe. Arrive in the picturesque town of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and continue to Delphi passing from Galaxidi and Itea. Dinner and overnight.


Day 3

In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. This is your Ancient Delphi Greecelast chance to admire the beautiful landscape of the whole Delphi area with the contradiction between the rocky mountains and the fertile land full of olive trees. Depart for Kalambaka driving through the cities of Thessaly, Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala. Dinner and overnight at Kalambaka


Day 4Meteora Manasteries Greece

In the morning visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit Leonida’s monument) and Kamena Vourla. Arrive at Athens early in the evening.

Then proceed to the Town of Nauplion ( short stop) drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Departure for Olympia Through Central Peloponnese and the Towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the Cradle of the Olympic Games.


TUESDAY: OLYMPIA-DELPHI: In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with theAncient Delphi Greece

Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum.

Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque Towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi . Dinner and overnight.


WEDNESDAY: DELPHI-METEORA: Visit the Archaeological site and the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, a small Town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight.

We go along the Athens Riviera in the Saronic Golf to the south end of Attica passing close to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion. This afternoon is a good opportunity to get around and know your ship and the services we provide.
In the afternoon we arrive in Mykonos, the island of the international “jet set”, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and incredible night life. Take a taste of the island and check if you maybe like to return in the future to spend more time. In the evening return to the ship for overnight travel to our next destination


  SATURDAY: KUSADASI-PATMOS: First port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the city of Ephessos . One of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated, where St. Paul was arrested and then banished. In the afternoon arrival to Patmos, where participating in the optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery and the Grotto of St. John, where he lived and recorded the book of the Revelation.


SUNDAY: HERAKLION CRETE-SANTORINI: New port, new places, new interestingSantorini Island Greece

TUESDAY: ASHDOD / JERUSALEM (ISRAEL): A full day in Israel. Perched on sand dunes, Ashdod is one of Israel’s three planned cities. Passengers taking the optional tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem will disembark here. During the visit to Jerusalem and Bethlehem you will walk the Via Dolorosa and see the Stations of the Cross. Among many other sites of interest are: the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and, in Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity.

WEDNESDAY: PORT SAID / CAIRO / ALEXANDRIA (EGYPT): First port of call is Port Said. Strategically located at the entrance to the Suez Canal, Port Said is a thriving city and gateway to Cairo in the south, site of the ancient monuments of the Egyptian empire, which have fascinated visitors throughout the ages. The mystifying Sphinx and the pyramids of Giza stand magically on the outskirts of the city at the edge of the desert. Cairo’s museum of Antiquities holds one of the finest collections of artefacts in the world, including the astounding treasures of King Tutankhamen’s tomb.
IMPORTANT: At the end of the optional tours, embarkation takes place in Alexandria port.

THURSDAY: AGIOS NIKOLAOS / HERAKLION(CRETE): Morning on board. In the afternoon arrival at the Cretan port of Agios Nikolaos. Take the opportunity to participate in the optional tour to the Palace of Knossos to visit the centre of the Minoan Civilization in Heraklion.

FRIDAY: PIRAEUS/ATHENS: Early morning arrival in Piraeus port. After breakfast on board, disembarkation and fly back home or continue your vacation in Greece.
