Pelopennese is full of ruins from ancient Greece and today’s tour will show much of them and will give you the opportunity to admire the wonderful nature of this area.
Day 1: ATHENS - NAUPLION 
Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf you pass Daphne and Eleusis and arrive to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive on to Mycenae, the Homeric city of the Atreides - the city 'rich in gold' of the ancient poets (visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal Tombs). After that driving through the fertile plain of Argolis, you will arrive to the picturesque town Nafplion, the first capital of Greece, that the Venetians called 'Naples of Greece' a picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. After lunch you will have a chance to enjoy more of Nafplion and the famous Palamidi fortress. Dinner Overnight.
Day 2: NAUPLION - ATHENS 
Morning at leisure and after lunch leave for Epidaurus to visit the Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by the national road connecting Epidaurus with Corinth late in the afternoon.
